So it leans...

So if you come to Italy, you have to see the leaning tower of Pisa. I could have passed on this trip. On our way back from Cinque Terre, we got off the train in Pisa to see the tower. Here's how it went. Walk 20 or so minutes in a straight line through town with all the other tourists. Get to the tower. Not as big as I thought it would be, and it doesn't really look like it leans that much. Take some pictures with the hundreds of other tourists trying to do the same. Yes, I took the requisite "here I am pushing the tower" picture but I refuse to post it because I look like a moron. (Tyler's looks really cool and perfect but I don't know how he pulled that off) Everyone looks so stupid trying to get the pose just right, but it is entertaining to watch them try. Also, there's scaffolding and a crane around it which kind of takes away the effect. After the picture, you're done. There's not much else to see. Back to the train. So the leaning tower is cool, but not that cool. I could just as easily have photoshopped myself into a picture. But at least I can say I've seen it?
