"I met a man in Rome and he's wonderful and brilliant and we're getting married."

If you can name what movie that came from, you're really cool. A friend and I headed to Rome on Thursday night and attempted to cram as much sight seeing as possible in 2 1/2 days. We're cheap so we took the regional train which is a 3 1/2 hour train ride. Gorgeous views of Italy, but who wants to sit on a train that long. We had to stay at 2 different hostels, and I'll just say that the 2nd was a significant improvement over the 1st. Creepy creeper guy that ran the hostel was really sketchy. Friday we went to Vatican City and did the Vatican Museums, which includes the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. That night we went to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and some great dinner. Saturday we did the Colloseum, the Forum, and the Pantheon. We spent the late afternoon in a great Piazza just doing some people watching at a restaurant. Rome was great, but we were exhausted on our way home yesterday. Lots of pictures... Here's the Colleseum. It was amazing.
