I'm pretty speechless after watching Katie Couric's interview with Sarah Palin. Is she really this uninformed? Does she actually believe this stuff as she says it? I can't believe this is Palin's best after weeks tucked away with policy advisors teaching her about current events and feeding her talking points. Now it is clear why she hasn't been doing interviews. They really have been hiding her. This is insulting. I'm fighting the urge to rant here.
Honestly, I tried to understand the Palin attraction. I watched her convention speech, have read a ton about her, and watched her ABC and FOX interviews. I don't get it. Hooray, she's a woman that balanced family with career, etc. whatever. Even setting her personal politics aside, this is still frightening. And I would feel the same if this were the dem veep nominee. This is not a joke. This is a serious election. I know you hear this constantly, but she will be one heartbeat away from the presidency. She doesn't know what she's talking about and she doesn't seem to have any clear grasp on facts.
Please, even if you can't stand Obama, watch these interviews.

I really hope Biden tears her apart in the debate, but that is probably wishful thinking.

Her voice is like a dog whistle to me. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard. Every time she speaks I just want to pay for my own rape kit (in advance... you can buy them in bulk too cause it's cheaper!) and rape my own ears with a screwdriver until her voice stops territorially pissing in my brain.
I really think that she might be mildly mentally handicapped.
I saw these a couple days ago and honestly I felt like my skin was crawling. I just wanted her to stop talking she almost sounded as bad as Biden (probably worse actually). Although I think everyone can admit he has had some whoppers lately i.e. no more coal mining, AIG bailout etc. However this took the cookie for me. I just wish she would have said you know honestly I haven't had that much interaction with Russia but I am willing to learn the ropes of foreign policy but instead she had to go off about Putin rearing his head. Oh boy. I have never been so embarrassed for someone. This election is making me crazy.
